After more than a decade helping clients prepare, stage, and sell their homes, I realized the work I loved most wasn't simply selling houses—it was helping people through life's transitions.

Along the way, I discovered remarkable vintage pieces hidden inside unforgettable homes, helped families thoughtfully prepare properties for their next chapter, and developed a passion for creating beautiful, welcoming spaces.

Those experiences became Root Element.

Today, Root Element brings together home staging, furniture rentals, estate transition services, curated vintage finds, and botanical home goods—all guided by one simple belief:

Staging Services

  • A staging consultation is a personalized walk-through of your home where we identify simple, impactful changes that will help your property present at its best. During the consultation, we discuss layout, styling, lighting, and ways to highlight the home’s strongest features. You’ll receive guidance on furniture placement, decluttering, and finishing touches that can make a meaningful difference in how buyers experience the space.

    Consultation Fee: $200 (applied toward staging services if booked within 30 days, Central Oregon Only)

  • Basic staging focuses on enhancing your home using thoughtful styling and carefully selected décor. By working with existing furnishings when possible and layering in complementary pieces, we create a balanced and inviting atmosphere that helps buyers connect emotionally with the home. Even small adjustments in layout, texture, and styling can transform how a room feels and improve how the property presents both in person and in listing photos.

    Starting at $600

  • Full staging is ideal for vacant homes or spaces that need a complete design approach. Furniture, décor, and styling elements are carefully curated to create a cohesive, welcoming environment that showcases the home’s layout and potential. Each space is designed to feel warm, functional, and memorable, helping buyers envision how they would live in the home while allowing the property’s architecture and natural light to shine.

Hi, I'm Wendy.

I'm a licensed Realtor serving Oregon and Washington, a Certified Staging Design Agent, and the founder of Root Element.

I've helped homeowners prepare, market, and sell their homes. Over time, that work naturally expanded beyond real estate into staging, estate transitions, furniture rentals, curated vintage finds, and botanical home goods.

Root Element was created to bring those passions together.

Whether helping prepare a home for sale or creating spaces that feel warm and welcoming, my goal is simple:
