Curating Homes. Honoring Stories.

Built on a foundation of real estate, Root Element brings together home staging, estate transition services, furniture rentals, curated vintage finds, and botanical home goods to help every home reach its full potential.

Our Story.

Root Element offers a complete home experience—from preparation and staging to estate transitions, curated living, and the next chapter.

After more than a decade helping clients prepare, stage, and sell their homes, I realized the work I loved most wasn't simply selling houses—it was helping people through life's transitions.

Along the way, I discovered remarkable vintage pieces hidden inside unforgettable homes, helped families thoughtfully prepare properties for their next chapter, and developed a passion for creating beautiful, welcoming spaces.

Those experiences became Root Element.

Today, Root Element brings together home staging, furniture rentals, estate transition services, curated vintage finds, and botanical home goods—all guided by one simple belief:

Beautiful homes begin with thoughtful care.

About Root Element

Root Element was founded on a simple belief: every home has a story.

After more than a decade of staging homes and helping clients through the buying and selling process, I realized that some of the most meaningful moments weren't just about preparing a home for the market—they were about honoring the memories, collections, and stories that made a house feel like home.

Over the years, I've discovered remarkable vintage treasures hidden inside unforgettable homes, helped families thoughtfully prepare properties for their next chapter, and created handcrafted botanical home goods inspired by the beauty of natural living.

Today, Root Element brings together home staging, furniture rentals, estate transition services, curated vintage finds, and botanical home goods—all guided by the same philosophy:

Create beautiful spaces. Honor meaningful stories. Help people move confidently into what's next.

Whether I'm staging a home, helping a family navigate downsizing, curating a one-of-a-kind vintage piece, or handcrafting products for everyday living, my goal is always the same—to create spaces that feel warm, welcoming, authentic, and timeless.

Root Element currently provides home staging, furniture rentals, and estate transition services throughout Central Oregon, while our curated vintage finds and botanical home goods are available to customers everywhere through our online shop.

Meet Wendy

Hi, I'm Wendy.

I'm a licensed Realtor serving Oregon and Washington, a Certified Staging Design Agent, and the founder of Root Element.

I've helped homeowners prepare, market, and sell their homes. Over time, that work naturally expanded beyond real estate into staging, estate transitions, furniture rentals, curated vintage finds, and botanical home goods.

Root Element was created to bring those passions together.

Whether helping prepare a home for sale or creating spaces that feel warm and welcoming, my goal is simple:

To help people create beautiful homes while honoring the stories that make them unique.

  • "Wendy did the most amazing job in cleaning, prepping, staging, showing and selling my parents home of 50 years. I have never seen anyone so dedicated to the sellers, and the eventual outcome of seeing this happen. She went far above and beyond to accomplish this for our family. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!"

    —Former Client

  • “I have worked with many realtors over the past few years. Wendy is the only one that I would seek out to work with again if I was still in the area! She gave excellent advise for pricing of our houses and arranged staging and open houses as appropriate. Definitely go with her!”

    -Former Client

  • "Wendy worked very hard from beginning to end, never letting up. She proved that by selling our home for a higher price than what other realtors had suggested. Wendy created a unique marketing plan, then personally canvassed the community; she went above and beyond. Her advertising skills are top notch. My texts and phone calls were answered within minutes. She did a lot of work behind the scenes and had a ready answer for all my questions. She anticipated issues that might come up and had a solution ahead of time. She left no detail out. Most importantly, I came to trust her completely and value her advice. A lot of tough decisions were made throughout the process, and her input and guidance were invaluable. Wendy simplified the complicated, shouldered the stress, provided the expertise and in the end became someone I could call both a realtor and friend."
